CANTONMENT, Fla. — Family, friends and loved ones are mourning the passing of Logan Connor Edmondson, a Cantonment, Florida, man who died on August 10, 2026, just one day before his 23rd birthday.

Born on August 11, 2003, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Logan was remembered as a curious, creative and hardworking young man whose interests included music, cooking, history, reading and the outdoors.

Remembering Logan Connor Edmondson

Logan was a 2021 graduate of J.M. Tate High School, where he participated in the school’s Showband of the South.

During his time with the band, he played the tenor saxophone, sharing his musical talents and experiences with fellow students and members of the school community.

Following graduation, Logan worked at McGuire’s Irish Pub, where he developed a particular passion for cooking. His obituary noted his enthusiasm for preparing steaks and his determination to improve his cooking skills.

He later worked in Area Two Distribution at Ascend and also served with the company’s fire department.

A Curious and Creative Personality

Those who knew Logan remembered him as an “old soul” who appreciated life’s simple pleasures.

His interests extended across music, the outdoors, reading, history and cooking. He particularly enjoyed classic country and rock music and had a natural curiosity about the world around him.

Logan also enjoyed tinkering and figuring out how things worked. His willingness to investigate, experiment and find solutions reflected a personality that was both curious and creative.

Beyond his interests and career, family and friendship remained central to his life. He was remembered as a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend whose presence brought laughter and created lasting memories.

Family and Loved Ones

Logan is survived by his parents, Tim and Angie Edmondson, and his sister, Lydia Edmondson.

His surviving grandparents include Sharon and Malcolm Nelson, Larry Spinks and Sandra Jackson, as well as Bob and Kathy Edmondson.

He is also survived by his special aunt, Missy “Dot” Craig, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Logan was preceded in death by his uncle, Kevin Spinks.

His family and friends are now left to remember the moments they shared with him and the qualities that made him special to those closest to him.

Funeral and Memorial Arrangements

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory – North in Cantonment.

A funeral service will follow from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Logan’s final resting place is listed as Highland/Aldersgate Church Cemetery in Molino, Florida.

The gathering will give family, friends and members of the community an opportunity to pay their respects, share memories and support one another as they honor his life.

A Life Remembered

Although Logan Connor Edmondson’s life ended shortly before his 23rd birthday, those who knew him will remember the many interests and qualities that made him unique.

From playing the tenor saxophone at Tate High School to developing his skills in the kitchen, working in distribution and serving with a fire department, Logan’s life reflected his curiosity, creativity and willingness to learn.

His love of music, cooking, history, the outdoors and figuring out how things worked will remain part of the memories held by those who knew him.
