Authorities in Nashville, Tennessee, are searching for 31-year-old Conor Anderson of Colorado, who was reported missing after traveling to Nashville for a work conference. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said Anderson was last seen early Sunday morning in the Woodland Street and Main Street area of East Nashville.

Anderson flew to Nashville on Saturday and checked into the Millennium Maxwell House hotel, according to police. Investigators are now reviewing surveillance footage and examining his phone and bank records as they work to determine his whereabouts.

Last Known Sighting

Police said Anderson approached two East Precinct officers at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday after an interaction outside a nearby bar.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Anderson told officers that he had given two unknown men $20 to show him around the area. He said the men subsequently walked away with the money. Anderson did not want to provide his driver’s license to make a formal police report.

The officers encouraged him to use a rideshare service to return to his hotel, and he agreed. Police have not confirmed that he arrived back at the hotel.

Body-camera footage obtained by NewsChannel 5 shows Anderson’s interaction with officers and is believed to document his last known interaction with police.

Investigation Continues

Nashville police detectives are actively working to reconstruct Anderson’s movements after the early-Sunday encounter. Investigators are reviewing available surveillance video and checking phone and financial records as they search for information that could help locate him.

Authorities have not announced that Anderson has been found, and there is currently no verified information establishing what happened to him after his interaction with officers.

Speculation circulating online about his whereabouts should not be treated as fact unless confirmed by investigators or his family.
